The usual appointment with the Christmas concert is back in the Cathedral of Pisa, wanted and organised by the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, with the contribution of the Fondazione Pisa. Friday 17 December at 9 pm, a program that offers two instrumental pieces Sinfonia in B minor “Al Santo Sepolcro”, RV 169 for strings and basso continuo by Antonio Vivaldi and Concert “made for Christmas night” by Arcangelo Corelli, and three opera arias inspired by prayer, the Ave Maria from Verdi’s Otello and Ave Maria from Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, and O mio Signor from Serse of Händel, all adaptations from famous musical themes.

Rules on admission to concerts
The concert will be with free ticket.
The booking of tickets can be made only online starting from 14 December at 10:00. Access to the online booking needs a registration and under the same name can be booked up to two per person per concert. Booking online closes when stock last. Vouchers thus obtained can be converted at the Ticket office at any time, within 18:00 on the concert day. Tickets left and not collected will be released for the concert in the evening, only at the Ticket office from 18:00.
Tickets are nominative and non-transferable. The seats are all pre-assigned. The ticket shows the opening time to the public. Access is allowed up to 15 minutes before the start of the concert.
All regular ticket holders must also present the SUPER COVID-19 green certification at the entrance (with the exception of subjects excluded by age from the vaccination campaign and exempt subjects on the basis of appropriate medical certification). The event is safely guaranteed in compliance with government measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 (hand sanitiser and the requirement to wear the SURGICAL mask or FFP2 all the time: in the queue, during the concert, until the exit).
The Cathedral has only two entrances from the doors on the facade, in front of the Baptistery.
There are no special areas reserved for disabled persons within the monuments; tickets are free for everyone. Those with restricted mobility and wheelchair users only, who wish to attend the concerts should email animamundi@opapisa.it by 13 December, to ensure that appropriate spaces are available, in compliance with safety regulations.
Online booking is out of the stock. Tickets left and not collected will be released for the concert in the evening, only at the Ticket office from 18:00.
