Organ Vespers
Cathedral of Pisa
Musical elevations introduced by spiritual reflections by Father Ottavio De Bertolis
Free admission – no booking required

For the third consecutive year, the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Chapter of the Cathedral, presents the Organ Vespers at the Cathedral of Pisa.

Five of the most distinguished organists from the Italian and international music scene will take turns at the console of the Mascioni pipe organ, opus 1039, built in 1980, offering the public a series of events of outstanding musical quality and profound spiritual intensity. Their performances will accompany and enhance the reflective and meditative moments introduced by Father Ottavio De Bertolis, creating a deep dialogue between music, silence, and the spoken word.

The alternation of performers will allow the audience to explore different styles, schools, and musical languages, turning each concert into a unique experience. The programme highlights both the excellence of the interpreters and the exceptional qualities of an instrument capable of filling the Cathedral with majestic and evocative sounds.
