On the occasion of the centenary of the repositioning of Giovanni Pisano’s pulpit inside the Cathedral (1926), the exhibition illustrates how the legacy of one of the greatest sculptors between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries has been handed down through the centuries.
Plaster casts, paintings, sculptures, engravings, photographs, and drawings come together to reveal how artists, scholars, and visitors have looked at and interpreted his work.
