The Concerti sotto la Torre were created in 2002 in order to give people the opportunity to enjoy good music in a light atmosphere and a suggestive and informal setting.
The cosy setting, with not too many people, surrounded by the simple, relaxing architecture of the Cloister of the Museo dell'Opera, with the Leaning Tower and the sunsets of the first summer evenings in the background, contribute to the extremely pleasurable experience of listening to music which ranges from jazz to classical and chamber music.
The performers who have appeared on this stage in the last few years are among the best the music scene can offer: Giovanni Allevi, Enrico Pieranunzi, Marco De Gennaro and Petra Magoni, to mention just a few.
The Concerti sotto la Torre are undoubtedly a rare moment of outdoor relax that combines art, music and suggestive atmospheres, a well-deserved break from the increasingly frenzied pace of everyday life.
